FDM/3D Printing
Communication throughout the design process is critical in the successful development of a new product. Design and engineering changes due to poor communication become exponentially more expensive with each step in the design process. For example, a modest engineering change costing $100 in the proof of Concept phase of design might cost $1000 in the development phase. That same change could easily cost nearly $100,000 in the production stage. Successful product design requires review and input from many sources. CAD files, prints and renderings can be misinterpreted by everyone from design engineers to marketing executives. There's no substitute for the tactile and visual feedback a physical model can provide all participants in the design process. Most critical product design and specification decisions are made during the first 10% of the design cycle or at the conceptual stage. These decisions can affect almost 80% of the product's total cost by establishing material selection, manufacturing techniques, and longevity of the design.
It's extremely important to make the correct decisions by evaluating different or multiple design concepts during these beginning stages. We can supply a Durable 3D Paint able ABS Plastic Functional Part quickly and cost effectively compared to a ridged S.L.A. Part).

Rapid Aluminum Tooling
This process allows the molder to produce high quality parts in a very short period of time. The tooling process itself is simplified, however it allows the molder to produce production-represented parts repeatedly.

Basic Aluminum Tooling
This process is similar in nature to the tooling described above, however it requires a slightly longer lead-time. The tooling itself is built in more detail and mirrors the build process of a steel production tool. This process is typically used to allow the molder to test & learn from the prototype molding process.
